What can i do:No dentist and in pain?

Im in pain i know one tooth has to come out,and ive got a tooth that is really sensitive to cold only, because a bit of tooth came away

Im on the nhs dental list, and ive been told i will be contacted asap, ive been on the list for a year, ive phoned them up loads of times, and i get the same answer

I cant go to a private dentist as i dont have that kind of money

If i go to the emergency dentist that means ill be in real pain as they are polish people and they dont care how they treat you,Ive got a sensitive gag reflix, but do they care NO

Even when they numbed my mouth he just jabbed the needle in

If i go to the emergency dentist this will mean the teeth will come out,and ill be stuck with hardly any teeth

There is no teaching hospitals arund here

When i went to the emergency dentist he said at least 6teeth have to come out

Please someone tell me there is hope?

What can i do:No dentist and in pain?
Just been to my own NHS Dentist they changed him for a newly qualified one well my tooth hurts more now than before filling was done and he said i can do this without an inj i said no you wont cost cutting yet again i am looking into Den-plan you pay all year then get treated by a proper dentist i haven't checked it out yet maybe you could look into it A and E wont help.
Reply:Try A%26amp;E..not sure if they will help
Reply:call the NHS direct and they will give you an emergency dentist to call
Reply:Hopefully there are other emergency dentists in your area.

Go to a search engine such as google.co.uk and type in (name of area, where you live) PCT dentists. Search pages from the UK. Keep a log of your experiences and contact your local MP. The Government need to know the misery caused to thousands of people.
Reply:You obviously are in urgent need of dental care. Do get it or you could lose all your teeth. NHS Direct is well worth a try. They should be able to steer you in the right direction. Good Luck
Reply:Ok, I understand you don't have good coverage at this time. Call around and ask who takes CareCredit. It's a credit card for medical bills that you can apply for on line carecredit.com. A lot of offices offer 3 or 6 months same as cash through this credit card with the option to do 24 months extended credit. The interest after that is very low provided you pay the minimal on time.

I'm sorry to hear that you have such a bad experience with dentist. Unfortunately some dentist are that way. A lot of dentist don't have sympathy for patients trying to rush and squeeze into their schedules due to the fact that the patient is only responding to symptomatic conditions. Dentists are firm believers in preventative care. A cleaning every 6 months is rather cheap as apposed to restorative work. From here on get those check ups every 6 months. They are affordable.
Reply:Here you go hun.

Ring the NHS direct number on here and they will tell you where to go for treatment.

Put it another way, if you don't get treatment you WILL lose all your teeth.
