Needed emergency dental work, told supervisor, left work, he lied to owner, got fired. can I sue?

You should be able to obtain documentation from the dentist as to the work performed. Get something from him that specifically states that what was performed was considered emergency surgery. Take all that to your boss and he should either rehire you, no questions asked. If not, then you have every right to sue. Good luck!

If you have anything written, yes, or witnesses. If not,

no.

Reply:unless you have something written its your word against his. What a schmuck to lie...
Reply:You can get a written notice from your dentist, and a bill to show that you were where you said that you were. That is proof!
Reply:Do you have a bill from the dentist that you could show as proof of your reason for leaving work?
