Dental coverage for medicaid differs from state to state. In the state I reside in after the age of twenty medicaid will only cover extractions and the x-ray. Medicaid will not pay for the emergency exam though so you will have to pay for that portion out of pocket. Check with your local office and see what your medicaid will pay for.
Reply:Are those teeth protruding from the top of your head? I'll take'em out for you, sweetheart!
Reply:I'm not positive, but I believe emergency dental care is covered. Call your medicaid office and ask your case worker to be sure.
Reply:extractions yes,

real dental care - no.
Reply:You get covered according to the plan opted. Most provide for emergencies. However, better read the insurance fineprints. Good luck.
Reply:Call the duel~medi's.... they can answer it for you. I think for emergencys they will let you get extractions. Better check, though...
Reply:yes it is covered
Reply:if your tooth is infected they will have to do it right away and then bill you. but the extraction is covered, there might be like a 20 dollar cover charge or something like that
Reply:Last I knew they will pay to have it pulled but they wont pay to save it. They definitely wont do preventive. now does that make sense?
