Actually there are not dental insurances that I know of that will pay for something that is considered a pre-existing condition. So if you go to the emergency room and try to bill your insurance before it goes into effect than they won't pay for it. Any treatment you seek is going to have to come out of your pocket. Check into any dental schools in your area, they may be able to get you in at a reduced rate than a normal private practice. Also check for clinics in your area that accept payment on a sliding scale. Meaning depending on what your income is will depend on how much you pay. At the very least you may be able to see your regular MD who may be able to prescribe you something for your pain, and an antibiotic if you have any infection going on. Good luck.
Reply:you should do some research yourself. Just type in dentist or dental insurance and then your zip code and/or city and state. That should get the ball rolling. My best wishes for ya!
Reply:A nice bottle of Crown Royale goes a long way
Reply:Go to the emergency room at a hospital during normal business hours (around 10am would be perfect).

The dentist in the hospital will def be in and if it's an emergency they can't deny you treatment.

You can send the bill to your insurance company after you start getting it. They usually pay 6 months worth before the start date. but then again they may refuse and you may have to pay in instalments
Reply:Instead of dental insurance, try a discount benefits provider. Visit http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/dlittle. No waiting period, all specialists included, pre-existing conditions included except orthodontic treatment already in progress. No age limit, change dentists whenever you like
