I have a back tooth either a molar or a wisdom tooth that is hurting very badly.....im in a state of dental emergency .... however i dont have any money.... what can i do?
Dental emergency ....I dont have any money and am in a lot pain.. i live in los angeles.....what can i do?
for the pain: take OTC ibuprofen like motrin. OTC eugenol has helped some people with the throbbing pulsing pain too. eugenol is a natural oil that dentists use all the time to sedate pulps that are infected or irritated. keep the area clean, gurgle warm salty water, avoid smoking.
to see a dentist: you live in an area where they are 3 dental school and a crap load of hospitals. ucla, usc, and loma linda all have dental schools where you can receive quality care at a fraction of the price. county USC or UCLA have oral surgery dept and probably take emergency walkins daily for free. call the hospitals and see if you can be seen. you'll probably have to wait all day to see someone, but you should be able to see a surgery.

Most of the people who dont have money are in a lot of pain, even if they dont live in los angeles. Just relax.
Reply:If u have a dental friend then mayb they will do it for a discount for u ....get it fixed now or it well geet worse and you will probably end up with a bigger bill
